TO APPLY FOR A TENANCY - If you wish to apply for a property through Mint Homes after a viewing, you need to apply for it directly from our website. THE TENANCY The property will be let under an Assured Periodic Tenancy (APT). This means the tenancy runs on an ongoing rolling basis until either the tenant or landlord gives notice to end it. Tenants must provide at least two months’ notice, ending on the final day of a rent period. The landlord may end the tenancy by serving a Section 8 notice, using the appropriate legal grounds for repossession.
The tenant is responsible for paying Council Tax for the duration of the tenancy, as well as all charges for water, sewerage, gas, electricity, telephone, and any other utilities or services used during this time.
